. I experienced chronic anxiety which at the time felt as though my life was shut down by my feelings and thoughts of impending doom. I felt trapped in my body and dictated by my thoughts. I felt stressed by my thoughts and felt unease and tension in my body. I knew medication just wasn't for me and there had to be other solutions. So I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. I have learnt and trained along the way. My discoveries led to my transformation to find peace in my mind and ease in my body.

Over time such ‘stress’ can further compromise body systems, this is why fascia has such a big impact on our entire health.
Myofascial Release, like many holistic modalities, champions the philosophy that the mind and body are connected and the importance of viewing an individual as a whole rather than only looking at a physical ailment or just emotional issue. The body has the ability to remember postural positions, actions and emotions without the brain reminding it to do so. Throughout the body’s fascial system flow microscopic cells containing energy which have the ability to retain memory.
