Find The Authentic Freedom Of Inner Rest & De-Stress

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is an excellent practice to counter the stresses we may experience. It also helps to create improvements in flexibility. The postures are all static, where you wait and listen to your body. Time to settle into the pose is key in this gentle and soothing form of yoga. Allowing time for gravity to do the work for you gains  access to layers of connective tissue called fascia.
The practice of yin encourages you unhook
 from an internal drive of succeeding, doing and achieving, turning our attention to rest on simply 'being'. This makes Yin a wonderful practice if you’re feeling overhelmed, anxious, stressed, or depleted.

Restorative Yoga

Today’s fast-pace of life sets up our nervous system to be in a stressed-state. We can also be firmly rooted in a place of 'doing', rather than simply 'being'. A restorative yoga practice is a wonderful antidote to stress. A practice of restorative yoga allows you to relax deeply with mindful awareness. Resting in mindful awareness creates alignment to the present moment, similar to the effect of meditation. 

You will be guided through your own personalised practice, within a space created for you to connect to your body and breath. A truly nurturing and restful experience for you to be 'you' and to unravel tension. Restorative yoga is a wonderfully nurturing practice that can help you to feel grounded and at ease, as well as melting tension and improving vagal tone.

Self Myofascial Release

Using therapy balls you will be guided to roll and release fascial tissue which helps to release tension and create the relaxation response. Self myofascial release will give you the opportunity to explore your body through the direct experience of interoception, delving into your inner landscape and accessing areas of tension and then releasing them.

Pregnancy Yoga & Birth Preparation

During pregnancy yoga is a wonderful practice for you and your baby, whether you are new to yoga or already an experienced practitioner. Birthlight pregnancy yoga sessions are a great way to prepare yourself for your birthing journey. You will learn empowering practices that can help to manage pain during labour. You will also enjoy bonding with your baby. These sessions are more than just a pregnancy exercise class; they offer a truly holistic approach for you and your baby’s life in the womb and preparation for birth.
